When college grad rates are lower than those of high schools being closed down under the ed deform movement what is there left to do but CLOSE 'EM DOWN AND FIRE ALL THE PROFS. I mean, isn't the quality of the teacher the single most important element? All the deformers say it. And so do our own union leaders.

Also, we don't seem to be winning those wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. So we need to close the government down too. Maybe we can find a President who doesn't take marching orders from Gates.

Are we being compared to countries with equally large immigrant populations? similar levels of diversity, multiculturalism, and assimilation, and some persistent areas of urban blight?
